Cactus-LED save Burford Primary School 76% on energy costs & over 207 tonnes of CO2 output cut, Cactus-LED help Burford School save over 38,000kWh which is equal to electrical consumption of 7 domestic houses!

 

When talking to schools on how we can help them save money with our lighting, in Burford’s case over £50,000*, we highlight that whilst saving money, our lighting also provides other benefits that may go  un-noticed.

 

After surveying Burford Primary School, Nottingham, we came across a mixture of old T12 and T8 fluorescent tube lighting of different colour temperatures and age, creating a very mixed output of light with flickering.

 

With a requirement to use the existing fittings a priority, the decision was to go with our bright C-LED tubes of 6000K to keep a natural light and help keep the children's attention levels high.
