The most important thing from our perspective was that it's a good environment to bring our customers and suppliers into, when necessary. Having used the facility several times over the past 2 years or so, we had seen that for ourselves - and in particular how welcoming the reception area is, and equally how welcoming the reception staff are. It's also relatively new, local for us, and being both central and just off the A1, a good / accessible location for most people. The offices themselves are clean and modern, provide all of the communications required, and in the way the Beacon is run, it isn't at all intrusive. To further explain that, when were inside our office, we feel like were the only business in the building, which I like

Several reasons why… we needed more space and you had the right size room, in a professional looking place, at a lower cost than where we were (about 50% less I think).  Having the café there was also popular, also the kitchen facilities, and a car park that had spare spaces in it!

Distinctive Training

Distinctive Training is a national training provider with offices in the North, East and South of the country.   The main reason for identifying Newark Beacon in the first instance was its location. Easy access to the A1 was important and these office are perfectly located right next door to the A1. Our business is largely based in the East Midlands so being central to the region was also very important and Newark is ideally placed.  Parking for clients and staff was also important and were pleased with the amount of available and secure parking available. Our previous serviced offices were in a more city centre location and this presented significant barriers in terms of access, safety and security.We were immediately impressed with the building and the first impression in the reception area is both professional and welcoming. The building itself feels brand new, clean with a modern feel.  Offices and open spaces are well designed, bright with high ceilings and large windows giving a sense of space.  Having access to conference, meeting training room facilities is also beneficial particularly for us as a training provider and allows us the flexibility of booking additional accommodation as we need.The restaurant is first class and it is really nice to be able provide a good standard of hospitality for colleagues and visiting clients in a pleasant relaxing environment,  that is away from the office.Since moving in several months ago, we have been so impressed with the friendliness, helpfulness and efficiency of all the staff here.   We do appreciate the eco-credentials of the building and our visiting staff and visitors always comment on what a nice place it is to work in.
